March 12, 2026 — The Ukrainian Public Movement “Free Nation” has sent an official congratulatory message to the Kurdistan Independence Party following the unification of the Kurdistan Independence Party and the Kurdistan Independence Movement into one joint political force.
In its official greeting letter, the movement welcomed the decision as an important and positive step toward strengthening Kurdish political unity. The message stressed that unity built on the principles of freedom, dignity, and self-determination is a powerful foundation for advancing the aspirations of the Kurdish people.
The letter also expressed confidence that the consolidation of the two forces will strengthen their political struggle, expand opportunities for cooperation and development, and further support the legitimate national rights of the Kurdish people.
